Photos of Orlando on the set of "Main Streets" have surfaced online, Ka-Bloom have some here. The film is currently under production in Durham and Orlando plays a small-town policeman in the film. ABC has some video reports here.

Variety reports that Gore Verbinski will not be directing Pirates of the Caribbean 4, he has informed Disney and producer Jerry Buckheimer that he won't be directing the fourth installment, which is currently scheduled to start shooting in 2010.

"Main Street" shooting starts Apr 6

According to Durham News Service shooting for "Main Street" will start on April 6 and running through mid May. Photos of some of the locations can be seen here. Thanks to Jules for the tips.

The day after Durham winds up Full Frame, arguably the most significant festival for non-fiction film, producers, director, and crew will begin shooting the fictional feature film, Main Street beginning April 6th and running through mid May and starring Orlando Bloom, Andrew McCarthy, Ellen Burstyn, Patricia Clarkson, and Colin Firth. This will also be the 18th feature film in which Durham is playing a role. The schedule is very rough and updates will be issued regularly. This map of the locations and the list of addresses should help residents, visitors and non-residents commuting here to work reroute when necessary. Stage work will also be done at a location in Durham.
