Beth reports: Just a small note tomorrow evening (11/29/05) on Entertainment Tonight, they are going to be airing something about POTC 2, I couldn't quite catch if it was a scene or the premiere of the trailer. But either way, it will be worth it to tune in. Update: Elaine reports: First look at Pirates of the Caribbean 2: Dead Man's Chest will be highlighted on Entertainment Tonight (NY) on Wednesday, November 30, 2005 at 7:30 pm ET. Some clips were played tonight and it looks great!

I suggest you set your VCR for tomorrow and Wednesday so you won't miss it and as always we will post a clip as soon as we have it. A positive review of Orlando's performance in Elizabethtown from The Japan Times

Despite what's wrong with the film, it isn't -- as many critics would have you believe -- Orlando Bloom. His performance is low-key, sure, but if he looked like Paul Giamatti ("American Splendor") everyone would be praising his "understated subtlety" rather than damning his supposed "lack of range." Besides, the girls love him. Guys may shake their heads, but after ogling your way through Devon and Jessica in "Sin City," shut up and take one for the team and go with your girl to see this one. -- Full review

"Pirates" Film Shoot Still On Track

The Bahama Journal reports that Walt Disney Studios gave an assurance yesterday that it has no plans to stop filming on POTC 2 and 3 in Grand Bahama because of a slew of thefts reports from some cast and crew members. The Nassau Guardian also reports that shooting in the Bahamas will continue.

BahamsB2B reports that Disney production crew have been robbed four times while filming the Pirates sequels in the Bahamas

Real life pirates have stolen around $20,000 worth of equipment and checks from the production team filming the second and third parts of the Pirates of the Caribbean trilogy in The Bahamas. Jemini Seven Entertainment CEO Jason Kakebeen said the crews were robbed four times over a one-month period while on location in Grand Bahama.

"We've had a slew of robberies on the actors who are currently working for Pirates of the Caribbean over at the Port Lucaya Resort," he said. "They were able to get into the room with a key and stole everything from laptops, passports, checks and other equipment. The money they stole was actually the actors' pay checks". A spokesperson at Port Lucaya Resort confirmed there was a robbery on November 11."We did get one report from the crew," she said. "And yes it was on that day. -- Full report

The actor, who famously smashed his spine in a fall before his movie career took off, was left in agony during night shoots on new movie Elizabethtown in rural Kentucky - and he realised it was all because of the tea he drank. He explains, "I was drinking green tea, which has caffeine. Not an awful lot. Just enough to get me through the shoot." "By the end of the night, my back was killing me. It (caffeine) dehydrates your spine and my back - that's still my alarm. That's my canary in the mine shaft."

Entertainment Wise reports that Liam Neeson thinks Orlando is Errol Flynn reincarnated

Liam Neeson believes Orlando Bloom, his 'Kingdom Of Heaven' co-star, is Errol Flynn brought back from the dead because of how great he sports his tights. The Batman trainer thinks that most movie men look a bit crap in period wear, whereas Bloom simply blossoms. Qui-Gon Jinn said of Legolas, "I always think of Errol Flynn. He looked uncomfortable in a suit but put him in a ridiculous pair of tights, and he looked to the manor born.

"John Wayne playing Genghis Khan was quite the other thing; Clint Eastwood in a kilt would look ludicrous. I don't know what it is. Orlando simply looks the part. "If I were (film tycoon) Jack Warner, I'd get a team of writers, get them writing period pieces, and sign him. Orlando is like a classic 40s star. "Some actors are utterly lost if you put a sword in their hands. Orlando is all physical grace."
