Pirates of the Caribbean: The Legend of Jack Sparrow Bethesda Softworks today announced plans to release a sequel to its exciting Pirates of the Caribbean video game based on Walt Disney Pictures' blockbuster film, Pirates of the Caribbean: The Curse of the Black Pearl. Pirates of the Caribbean: The Legend of Jack Sparrow will feature a blend of fast-paced action and adventure that captures the entertaining characters, settings, and spirit of the first movie. Slated for release in 2006, the video game sequel is being developed in association with 7 Studios for the PlayStation2. Read the press release
Elizabethtown mention Reportedly, she turned down the chance to co-star in director Cameron Crowe's highly anticipated film, "Elizabethtown," in favor of this relatively minor film. You have to wonder what Fonda - who will always be remembered for her work in such classics as "Julia," "Klute" and "They Shoot Horses, Don't They?" - was thinking about when she made that decision. This has to be among the more disappointing films in recent memory. Fonda's return to the screen might easily have been cause for celebration. Instead, she chose to appear in a film that can only hurt her reputation as one of the great American movie stars. If this is the best Fonda can do, perhaps she should resume retirement. Permanently.
Orlando hooked on rice pudding Screen heart-throb Orlando Bloom may have experienced a mouthwatering array of exotic cuisine thanks to his jet-setting lifestyle, but his favourite food is still rice pudding. Even though the Kingdom of Heaven star is spoilt for choice when working in far-flung locations, the first thing he does when he returns to the UK is re-stock his cupboards with the creamy comfort food - which is a much-loved traditional British treat. He insists, "I've got to stock up on Ambrosia Cream Rice."
