Valentine lists Orlando Bloom among his fans

Orlando Bloom became familiar with Alex Valentine's music after attending one of his gigs in London two years ago. But it was only when Valentine saw Orlando's face on the cover of the Evening Standard that he realised who his famous fan was. Valentine met up with the Lord of the Rings actor and handed him five copies of his album, which Orlando has since passed on to others. "I keep on getting phone calls from friends of Orlando saying that they really like my music" says the singer-songwriter. When asked how he feels about having the Hollywood heart-throb as a fan, Valentine says, "It's equally flattering when anyone likes my work, it doesn't matter who they are. Orlando is a really nice guy though and I do appreciate him helping me to make it into the big league."
